Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and construction equipment.
- Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues.
- Utilize power tools and specialized equipment for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and skilled with Hydraulics
- Knowledgeable and skilled working with construction equipment
- Knowledgeable and skilled with Electrical systems related to diesel vehicles and equipment
- Knowledgeable and skilled with Welding
- Proficiency in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required for various repair tasks.
- Capability to assemble components accurately based on specifications.
- Knowledge of how to dig safely around equipment during repairs.
